Solidgate will use Nopan's direct Wero integration, AI-driven Performance Intelligence and embedded payment experts to launch and optimise Wero across its merchant base.
Amsterdam, 19th of August - Solidgate, a global payment orchestration platform, has selected Nopan, the performance platform for account and wallet payments, to power and optimise Wero payments for its merchants. Through this partnership, Solidgate merchants will be able to seamlessly offer Wero at checkout, giving European consumers access to a pan-European payment solution while helping merchants improve conversion.
Wero, the European digital wallet developed by the European Payments Initiative, is moving quickly into e-commerce. After launching in Germany in late 2025, Wero is rolling out across Belgium and France during 2026. Luxembourg is transitioning from Payconiq, and the Netherlands has begun its migration from iDEAL. Further capabilities, including recurring payments, are set to follow.
Access is the starting point, not the finish line
Nopan is built on a simple premise: account and wallet payments deserve the same transparency, control and performance discipline that merchants and their providers have spent years applying to cards.
Under the agreement, Nopan provides Solidgate with direct Wero connectivity and takes on the full lifecycle of the payment method, from sizing the opportunity and designing the checkout experience through to launch, day-to-day operation and continuous optimisation. Solidgate retains the commercial and technical relationship with its merchants, while Nopan works behind it on the conversion, reliability, economics and operational efficiency of Wero itself.
For Solidgate, the partnership provides ongoing performance expertise to help optimise Wero as it expands into new markets and introduces new capabilities.

Nopan's Performance Intelligence analyses payment behaviour at scale: detecting anomalies, surfacing patterns across markets, methods and banks, diagnosing likely causes and estimating their commercial impact.
Nopan's payment specialists then validate those findings, add market context, and work alongside Solidgate's teams to implement changes and measure the result. Technology provides the signal and the scale; people provide the judgment, execution and accountability.
